Rolex 24 At Daytona
The 2025 Rolex 24 At Daytona, held this weekend, showcased endurance racing at its finest, with the #7 Porsche Penske Motorsport clinching the win in the final minutes. This marked the German manufacturer’s 20th triumph in the event’s history. The grueling 24-hour race at Daytona International Speedway tested the mettle of a 61-car field, delivering dramatic, high-stakes action throughout.
The race commenced on Saturday, January 25, at 1:40 p.m., with Rolex Testimonee and Grand Marshal Jamie Chadwick giving the iconic call: “Drivers, start your engines.” Chadwick, the first female active driver in recent history to serve in this role, embraced the honor and shared her admiration for the race and its competitors:

“I’ve followed the Rolex 24 for many years, so to witness the race firsthand as Grand Marshal is something I will remember forever. It has been impressive to see how tough this race is, from the challenging circuit to the steep banking and the many hours of darkness. I would love to return as a competitor, and to have a chance of winning a Daytona watch as a Rolex Testimonee would be the ultimate prize – one that is truly earned.”
As Title Sponsor since 1992, Rolex presented each of the victorious drivers with an engraved Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, a timepiece synonymous with racing excellence. The 2025 edition also celebrated Paul Newman, who won in class at the 1995 Rolex 24 at age 70, and who would have turned 100 this year.
The #60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing, Acura ARX-06 finished second, and the #6 Porsche Penske Motorsport, Porsche 963 claimed third, with all three top finishers completing 781 laps. In the LMP2 class, the #8 Tower Motorsports, Oreca 07-Gibson emerged victorious, while the #65 Ford Mustang GT3 secured GTD Pro honors, and the #13 AWA, Corvette Z06 GT3.R won the GTD category.

Rolex has been the title sponsor of the Rolex 24 At Daytona since 1992.
