For champagne lovers, Hublot unveiled a limited edition of just 10 watches that coincided with the brand’s role as Official Timekeeper and scoreboard sponsor for yesterday’s Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic match. The Hublot Classic Fusion AeorFusion Chronograph Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Special Edition watch was created to honor the 10th anniversary of the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, which returned to Liberty State Park, Jersey City, NJ, yesterday.
The strap on the Hublot AeroFusion Chronograph Veuve Clicquot Classic Polo watch matches the label of the bottle.
Veuve Clicquot brought polo back to New York for its first Polo Classic in 2008, and the event has continually grown to a visitor list of approximately 9,000 people who enjoy the sport of polo with the Manhattan skyline backdrop. In honor of the 10th anniversary, yesterday’s festivities included a performance by 15-time Grammy® Award-winning singer/songwriter/producer, Alicia Keys, with special donations by Verve Clicquot to Alicia’s charity “Keep a Child Alive.”
The new Hublot AeroFusion Chronograph Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic special edition watch is created in a limited edition of 10 pieces. The 45mm watch is created in black ceramic and houses a self-winding movement with 42 hours o power reserve. It is finished with a black rubber lined orange alligator strap created to match the packaging of the Veuve Clicquot champagne. The watch retails for $17,700.
Just 10 pieces of the Hublot AeroFusion Chronograph Veuve Clicquot Classic Polo watch will be made.
