Watch Week Aspen 2025 brought together friends, collectors, brands and even celebs.
For four days every August, Aspen becomes one of the most exciting destinations in American watch collecting. Boutique-lined streets fill with watch enthusiasts, collectors, executives and artisans, all gathering to celebrate fine watchmaking in an atmosphere that is as relaxed as it is luxurious.
Now in its third year, the free public event has quickly evolved into a destination where visitors can do far more than admire fine watches in display cases. Throughout downtown Aspen, brands, retailers and collectors come together for presentations, hands-on experiences, educational discussions, social gatherings and opportunities to try on—and in many cases purchase—some of the world’s most coveted timepieces.

Watch Week Aspen brings opportunities to try on the watch of your dreams.
The event starts in just 10 days and runs from August 13 – 16, 2026. This year’s lineup is the strongest yet, with participating brands including A. Lange & Söhne, Arnold & Son, Blancpain, Cyrus, Gerald Charles, Glashütte Original, Hermès, IWC Schaffhausen, L. Leroy, Moritz Grossmann, NORQAIN and OMEGA. Joining them are leading retailers and partners such as Analog, Avi & Co., Betteridge, Meridian Jewelers, M.S. Rau and Oliver Smith Jeweler.
Collectors looking for pieces rarely seen in the United States will find plenty to explore. Glashütte Original plans to unveil a new watchmaking innovation during an exclusive presentation, while L. Leroy will reveal a new concept collection before its official introduction in September during Geneva Watch Days. IWC will showcase its newest novelties alongside sought-after rare pieces, and A. Lange & Söhne will present examples from its coveted “Lumen” collection, including the platinum Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar “Lumen.”

Crafted in platinum, the A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Lumen watch has multiple firsts, including concepts meant to enhance the lumen. It can be seen at Watch Week Aspen this year.
Independent watchmaking also takes center stage. Visitors can meet Moritz Grossmann founder and CEO Christine Hutter during an intimate presentation, while a panel discussion will examine the growing influence of independent brands and the forces shaping today’s collector market.
Beyond the watches themselves, Watch Week Aspen has built its reputation around experiences. New this year is a 3K run through Aspen led by NORQAIN U.S. Brand President Emmanuel Bütler, along with Gerald Charles tennis and pickleball sessions, a VintageFest hosted by Analog, OMEGA Speedmaster presentations, Hermès demonstrations of its whimsical Le Temps Suspendu complication, collector dinners, cocktail receptions and informal gatherings that encourage conversation between collectors, executives and watchmakers.

At Watch Week Aspen 20126, Norqain will lead a 3K run through Aspen.
Perhaps that is what makes Watch Week Aspen different. Rather than a traditional trade show, it is designed to be approachable. Visitors can wander between boutiques and venues, handle exceptional timepieces, ask questions directly of brand leaders and artisans, compare notes with fellow collectors and discover watches they may never have encountered otherwise—all against the backdrop of one of America’s most beautiful summer destinations.
Founded by Oliver Smith Jeweler in partnership with the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, Watch Week Aspen has become an event where collecting feels less like business and more like a shared passion – exactly what it is meant to be. Whether you’re searching for your next watch, hoping to see a rare complication in person or simply looking to spend a weekend surrounded by people who speak the language of horology, Aspen may be it. We’ll let you know when we get back.

Watch Week Aspen is an informal gathering where collectors share their love of horology. It takes place August 13-16, 2026
