Tudor Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25
Formula One’s Miami Grand Prix this past weekend wasn’t just a showcase of driver skill and team strategy, but also a moment for watch brands to flex their motorsport connections. Several unveiled special editions tied to the high-octane weekend, including Tudor, which introduced the Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” on Saturday as a tribute to its partnership with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls team.

Tudor Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” is a tribute to its partnership with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 team.
The new “Carbon 25” is more than just a new color scheme. It features a newly redesigned 42mm case made entirely of carbon fiber—right down to the end-links on the hybrid rubber-leather strap. A fixed tachymeter bezel, also in carbon fiber, surrounds a domed “racing white” dial with carbon sub-counters that echo the Racing Bulls’ 2025 livery.
Under the hood is a high-performance engine in its own right: Tudor’s Manufacture Caliber MT5813, a COSC-certified chronometer movement developed with Breitling and customized in-house. It features a column wheel, vertical clutch, silicon balance spring, and a 70-hour power reserve—technology on par with the brand’s professional-grade tool watches but now expressed through the lens of racing.

The Tudor Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” retails for $7,575.
The chronograph functions include central seconds, a 45-minute totalizer at 3 o’clock, and a small seconds at 9. A date window at 6 o’clock completes the display, all protected by a domed sapphire crystal. Water-resistant to 200 meters, the watch remains ready for anything—trackside or otherwise.
Limited to 2,025 pieces, the Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 25” celebrates not just Tudor’s role in the 2025 F1 season, but its deeper history in motorsport, dating back to the late 1960s when it sponsored a Porsche 906 in Japan. The carbon construction aligns with F1’s relentless pursuit of weight reduction and mechanical performance.
At $7,575, it’s priced competitively for a watch with such technical specs and limited production. With timing as central to racing as tire strategy and pit stops, it’s no surprise that brands like Tudor are making bold moves on and off the track.
