Vintage inspired but with a true modern day twist, especially as it pertains to color, Citizen Watch Company unveils the Automatic NJ015 collection of mechanical watches. With five vibrant hues, the 40mm watches are the perfect size for any wrist. Colors include royal blue, yellow, green, turquoise and black and the watches boast integrated stainless steel bracelets.

Powered by the in-house manufactured Cal.8210 automatic movement, the collection is internally affectionately refered to as “Tsuyosa,” which translates from as strength. The movement offers 40 hours of power reserve and is visible via a transparent sapphire case back. The watches, which retail for $450. Each offer hours, minutes and date aperture. The hands and baton-shaped markers are luminous for easy reading in the dark.

Crafted in stainless steel with a brushed and polished finishing, the watches are equipped with the crown at 4:00 instead of 3:00 for a slimmer appearance. With a water resistance of 5 bar, these timepieces are the perfect blend of sport and chic style. The bracelet links are cylindrical and, according to Citizen, supposed to be shaped like a mountain for a more classical appeal than sporty. The bezel and bracelet are high polished. The collection makes its debut on Citizen’s e-commerce site on May 23.
