Armin Strom One Week Titanium Skeleton
During Watches & Wonders Geneva earlier this year, Armin Strom introduced a striking new iteration of its One Week Skeleton—this time in lightweight titanium with enhanced skeletonization – making it a light-weight yet highly durable watch. Alluring in looks, as well. Now we go hands-on with the timepiece.

Just 100 pieces of the Armin Strom One Week Titanium Skeleton watch will be made.
While the One Week has been part of the brand’s lineup since 2023, this latest version takes the concept of openworked horology further, stripping away even more material from the movement to emphasize lightness, visual depth, and mechanical elegance. This is no easy feat, since paring away metal can leave bridges and other parts slightly vulnerable, but not in this case. Armin Strom has achieved the perfect balance of beauty and brawn.

The Armin Strom One Week Titanium Skeleton watch boasts a fully integrated light-weight titanium bracelet.
Housed in a 41mm case crafted from Grade 5 titanium, the new One Week Skeleton Titanium blends robust construction with everyday wearability. The choice of titanium offers exceptional strength at a fraction of the weight of steel, making the watch feel deceptively light on the wrist. Paired with an integrated titanium bracelet and a double-folding clasp, the design reinforces the sense of sleek minimalism without sacrificing comfort or presence.

The exceptional skeletonized movement of the Armin Strom One Week Titanium Skeleton watch is also visible via a transparent case back.
Beating inside the watch is Armin Strom’s in-house manual-winding caliber ARM21-S, which remains a technical powerhouse with a full 7-day power reserve. This extended autonomy is driven by twin mainspring barrels—now visibly openworked—while the conical power reserve mechanism evokes the charm of antique pocket watches. The movement’s three-dimensional layout is fully on display, from the small seconds subdial to the escapement wheel, creating a dynamic mechanical animation on the dial side.
The decision to further skeletonize the mainplate, barrels, and small seconds display isn’t merely aesthetic. By removing additional metal, Armin Strom has emphasized the architectural qualities of the movement while retaining the watch’s structural integrity. At the same time, the open construction allows light to interact with the hand-finished surfaces, adding to the visual drama of the piece. On the back, a sapphire crystal reveals a panoramic view of the gear train and finishing details, reinforcing the watch’s dual role as a high-precision instrument and a mechanical sculpture.

The Armin Strom One Week Titanium Skeleton watch retails for 39,000 Swiss Francs.
Functionally, the One Week Titanium Skeleton offers hour, minute, and small seconds indications, along with a power reserve display that is now more prominent thanks to the reengineered layout. The regulating system includes a balance wheel with four regulating screws, beating at a frequency of 3.5 Hz (25,200 vibrations per hour), ensuring steady timekeeping over the course of its week-long reserve.
The hands and indexes are coated with Super-LumiNova® for low-light readability, while the skeletonized dial components contribute to an ultra-modern aesthetic grounded in traditional craftsmanship. Water-resistant to 10 ATM and limited to just 100 pieces, this new edition is priced at CHF 39,000.
