Bell & Ross BR-03 Skeleton Grey Steel
Bell & Ross marks the 20th anniversary of its iconic BR collection with the launch of a series of new watches, including the BR-03 Skeleton Grey Steel, a limited edition timepiece that combines modern industrial design with high watchmaking artistry. Unveiled at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025, the new model headlines the brand’s “20 Years of Boldness” campaign and exemplifies the technical sophistication and stylistic daring that have defined the BR line since its debut in 2005.
The BR-03 Skeleton Grey Steel is a 41mm watch crafted in satin-polished steel, distinguished by a faceted, openworked dial that exposes the new in-house skeletonized movement, the caliber BR-CAL.328. This automatic mechanical movement features an X-shaped architecture and offers a 54-hour power reserve, underscoring the brand’s growing emphasis on proprietary mechanical development.

Bell & Ross BR-03 Skeleton Grey Steel is powered by the BR-Cal 328.
Visually striking and functionally robust, the Skeleton Grey Steel blends aviation-instrument cues with the elegance of a contemporary jewel. Rhodium-plated, skeletonized hands and indices are filled with Super-LumiNova® X1, ensuring optimal readability in all conditions. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters and comes on a durable black rubber and synthetic fabric strap. Limited to just 250 pieces, it is available for pre-order now and priced at $5,600, with deliveries beginning now.
The launch of the Skeleton Grey Steel also commemorates two decades of the BR collection—a line that began in 2005 with the BR-01. That watch broke conventions with its square case, visible screws, and cockpit-inspired dial, bringing aviation instrumentation to the wrist in a bold, uncompromising form. Originally sized at 46mm, the BR-01 quickly became Bell & Ross’ signature and set the tone for two decades of creative exploration.

Bell & Ross BR-03 Skeleton Black Ceramic
There is also a BR-03 Skeleton Black Ceramic model with all the same attributes but crafted in high-tech ceramic. It retails for $5,990 and is not limited. A third take on the BR-03 is the super fun Skeleton Lum Ceramic. The watch, with skeleton dial, boasts green luminescens (via Super-LumiNova) in a pattern that emulates light on a radiator grill. Just 250 pieces will be made, each selling for $6,600.

Bell & Ross BR-03 Skeleton Lum Ceramic
Over the years, the BR family has expanded into themes ranging from military heritage to avant-garde art. Highlights include the BR-01 Skull (2009), the stealthy BR-03 Phantom (2007), and the experimental BR-X1 Tourbillon Chronograph (2015). The “Flight Instruments” series, beginning in 2010, reimagined cockpit gauges as timepieces, while models like the BR-03 94 AeroGT (2016) and BR-03 92 Diver (2017) took the square watch concept to land and sea. Just recently, the brand released the incredible BR-03 Astro.
Bell & Ross has also distinguished itself through material innovation, using ceramic, bronze, and carbon fiber across the BR collection, all while ensuring legibility and durability—core traits for a brand rooted in professional use. Partnerships with fighter squadrons, special forces, and racing teams have further emphasized the tool-watch DNA of the BR line.
