Mauron Musy NODE° Watch
Independent Swiss watch brand Mauron Musy is making a calculated play for the American collector market — and doing so in a decidedly personal way.
The brand, founded in 2013 by Eric Mauron and Christophe Musy, recently hosted private collector events in Miami and New York to unveil its new MU09 NODE° watch while simultaneously launching the USA Pioneers Society, an initiative aimed at cultivating deeper relationships with early American supporters of the brand.
For independent watchmakers, the U.S. has become one of the most important — and competitive — markets. American collectors have increasingly embraced niche, technically driven brands that offer something beyond heritage marketing and logo recognition. Mauron Musy, which produces just 300 watches annually, clearly sees opportunity here.

The June events marked a rare U.S. appearance by co-founder and CEO Christophe Musy, who met with collectors and watch enthusiasts while introducing the NODE°, first unveiled in Geneva earlier this year. More importantly, the gatherings signaled a broader commitment to building a direct community in America rather than relying solely on traditional retail channels.
At the center of attention was the new MU09 NODE°, a 41mm Grade 5 titanium watch powered by the brand’s manufacture Caliber MM03, a micro-rotor movement developed in-house. The watch also introduces Mauron Musy’s first integrated bracelet — an important evolution for a brand known more for engineering than design experimentation.
Yet the biggest talking point is the company’s patented nO-Ring® technology, which eliminates traditional rubber gaskets from the case construction. Instead of relying on elastomer seals to ensure water resistance, Mauron Musy engineered a fully mechanical sealing system — one developed over roughly three years and now central to the brand’s identity. It is a technical proposition few brands can genuinely claim as proprietary innovation. The MU09 NODE watches retail for $64,900.

Additionally, the brand explained its newly launched USA Pioneers Society designed to build on the spirit of exclusivity. Limited to the first 30 U.S. collectors, membership offers early access to releases, private events, priority servicing and select opportunities for commissions and previews. During the inaugural gatherings, attendees were already given a first look at two forthcoming pieces not yet publicly announced.
The initiative arrives on the heels of Mauron Musy’s partnership with FundTime LLC, which recently took an equity stake in the company and now serves as its exclusive U.S. distributor. The brand’s watches retail for $22,900 and up to just over $105,000 for certain models.
