Norqain Adventure Chrono 41mm NHL Limited Edition
Watch brands are no longer content timing the usual suspects. Formula 1, tennis, and yachting may have laid the groundwork, but today’s partnerships are pushing into faster, louder, more unexpected territory. From padel courts buzzing with post-work crowds to ice boating skimming across frozen lakes and rivers, horology is chasing adrenaline wherever it lives. Now, the young Swiss independent brand Norqain has made a move that feels both bold and obvious at the same time: partnering with the National Hockey League. And once you see it, you can’t help but ask—why did it take this long for a brand to skate into this territory?
Announced in November 2025, the partnership makes Norqain the NHL’s first Official Luxury Watch partner, and the brand is marking the occasion with the Adventure Chrono 41mm NHL Limited Edition, unveiled during the 2026 NHL Stadium Series in Tampa, Florida, just last weekend. With hockey being all about precision and speed, physical grit and momentum, it seemed like a perfect fit for this brand – which has professed its outdoorsy attitude since its inception.

Norqain skates ahead as Official Luxury Timepiece for the NHL.
This collaboration isn’t just marketing synergy—it’s personal. Norqain co-founder Mark Streit knows the NHL from the inside out, having spent more than a decade as an All-Star defenseman. His influence is felt throughout the project, which translates hockey’s intensity into a mechanical chronograph designed to be worn, used, and lived with.
The watch itself plays the game with confidence. The white dial features a “scratched ice” finish that immediately recalls a freshly battled rink, while the small seconds counter at 9 o’clock is styled as a face-off circle—complete with rotating crossed hockey sticks keeping time. Around the dial, the pulsometer scale includes a playful “TIMEOUT” marking at the 200 position, a brief visual pause in an otherwise high-octane layout. At 6 o’clock, the 12-hour chronograph counter carries a subtle NHL logo, understated but unmistakable.

Norqain Adventure Chrono 41mm NHL Limited Edition watch is powered by an automatic chronograph movement.
Powering the watch is Norqain Caliber N17, an automatic chronograph movement with a 62-hour power reserve, delivering day, date, and chronograph functions. The 41mm stainless steel case is water-resistant to 100 meters and topped with a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. A screw-down crown accented in red and a unidirectional rotating bezel reinforce the watch’s tool-watch credentials, while Norqain’s signature customizable case-side plate adds a personal touch.
Flip it over and the story continues. The open case back is engraved “ONE of 1917,” honoring the year the NHL was founded. Each watch arrives in a custom presentation box styled like an ice rink, complete with an authentic NHL hockey puck. Limited to 1,917 pieces and offered on either a steel bracelet or a black rubber strap incorporating puck material, the Adventure Chrono 41mm NHL Limited Edition retails for $5490 on strap and $5690 on steel bracelet.

The Norqain Adventure Chrono 41mm NHL Limited Edition watch sells for $5,490 on rubber strap and $5,690 on steel bracelet.
