Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team watch
With the Formula 1 season set to open in early March at the Grand Prix in Melbourne, the paddock is already buzzing—and not just with engine noise. As the countdown to lights-out begins, several watch brands are edging back into the pits, reaffirming the sport’s growing pull well beyond the circuit. One of the most notable moves comes from Breitling, which has announced a multi-year partnership with Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team.
On the surface, the announcement checks familiar boxes: luxury watchmaker meets ultra-luxury performance brand, united by precision, speed, and heritage. Breitling joins Aston Martin as Official Watch Partner, with branding that will appear on the car and team apparel when the AMR26 debuts, and visibility on track beginning at the Australian Grand Prix.

The Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team watch is made in an edition of 1959 pieces.
The partnership launches with a co-branded watch—the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team—limited to 1,959 pieces, a nod to Aston Martin’s first F1 season in 1959. The Navitimer watch is crafted in titanium with Aston Martin Racing Green and lime green accents. It bases a carbon fiber dial and a textured leather strap. The sapphire case back allows for viewing of the COSC-certified Manufacture movement BR 01 with 70 hours of power reserve. The matte black rotor in tungsten features the Aston Martin F1 team logo.
While the watch and the higher visibility of Breitling at F1 are both highly important, this collaboration matters for reasons that go deeper than logos and limited editions.

The back of the Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team watch enables viewing of the BR 01 movement and the tungsten rotor with team logo on it.
For Breitling, the Aston Martin deal marks a deliberate return to Formula 1 and, more broadly, to motorsport storytelling that has long been part of the brand’s DNA. While Breitling is best known today for its aviation credentials, its history with speed measurement predates the cockpit. As early as 1907, Leon Breitling introduced the Vitesse, a chronograph capable of measuring vehicle speed—technology so accurate it was adopted by police for issuing speeding tickets. By the mid-20th century, the Navitimer found its way from pilots’ wrists to racing drivers like Graham Hill and Jim Clark, underscoring its versatility as an instrument for drivers, not just aviators.

The new relationship between Breitling and Aston Martin F1 will witness signage at events, watches on wrists of team members and more.
In recent years, Breitling has been quietly rebuilding this automotive narrative. The revival of the Top Time collection—with its retro chronographs inspired by 1960s car culture and café racing—signaled renewed attention to motorsport aesthetics and history. Partnering with Aston Martin now elevates that direction onto F1’s most global stage.
As Formula 1’s popularity continues to surge, particularly with new audiences, Breitling’s timing feels intentional. This isn’t just about returning to the grid—it’s about reclaiming a chapter of the brand’s identity where speed, style, and mechanical performance converge. In a sport defined by fractions of a second, Breitling is reminding us that it has always been in the business of measuring them.
