The Temporis International Awards—often called the Golden Globes of global watchmaking—has revealed the 78 finalists for its 12th edition, celebrating the pinnacle of horological design, craftsmanship, and innovation. With public voting now officially open, watch lovers around the world are invited to make their voices heard and help select this year’s standout timepieces. Voting is now open.
Returning to Zürich’s prestigious Kongresshaus on October 2, the 2025 edition carries the theme “Build Your Time”—a celebration of purpose-driven design and the artistry behind modern watchmaking. The shortlisted watches span 13 categories, including Best Everyday Watch, Best Complication, Best Start-Up Watch, and Watch of the Year.
This year’s finalists hail from a remarkable 53 brands across Europe and Asia, from storied houses like Rolex, Bulgari, and Vacheron Constantin to independent voices such as Äonic, Micromilspec, and Berneron. The diversity of this year’s selections reflects the vitality of contemporary watchmaking and the way craftsmanship continues to evolve through innovation, heritage, and bold creative expression.

While two of the most-nominated models—the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon and the Rolex Land-Dweller—each earned recognition in three distinct categories, this year’s list includes everything from poetic complications to solar-powered tech and disruptive materials. The result is a true snapshot of where watchmaking is today—and where it’s headed next.
The TEMPORIS International Awards also stand out for bringing both experts and enthusiasts together to celebrate horology. While the jury plays a key role in awarding certain prizes, several categories—including the prestigious Watch of the Year—are open to public vote.
As a member of this year’s esteemed jury, I’m honored to join a group of respected industry professionals, collectors, and thought leaders who help guide the process. Among them are Roberta Naas, the first female watch editor in America and a pioneering voice in the field; Roger Ruegger, Editor-in-Chief of WatchTime USA; Dr. Andy Palmer, former CEO of Aston Martin; and horological experts like Miguel Seabra and Fabrice Brulhart, who bring diverse perspectives to the conversation. The jury’s makeup reflects the spirit of the awards: inclusive, global, and deeply passionate about timepieces.
Since its founding 14 years ago, TEMPORIS has grown into a flagship celebration of watchmaking excellence, drawing top executives, master watchmakers, collectors, and press to its annual gala — a showcase of craftsmanship and a celebration of community.
But now, it’s your turn to shape the outcome. Voting is open to the public, and every voice counts. Whether you’re captivated by cutting-edge design, enamored with haute complications, or simply love the story your favorite watch tells, your vote helps decide the future icons of horology.
