Bonded jewelry bangles from Metal Alchemist.
About six months ago I started wearing a couple of bonded metal bangles from Metal Alchemist. I was initially drawn to the clean, modern look — easy, stackable bracelets that work with just about everything I own. But the real reason I kept them on had more to do with the story behind them. The brand talks about metal not just as material, but as something with purpose. I was intrigued enough to give it a real try.
This blending of symbolism, material science and personal well-being places Metal Alchemist squarely within the growing category of “wellness jewelry,” where brands explore how materials, frequency and intention intersect. The company goes a step further with what it calls Vital Force Technology — a proprietary process that infuses each piece with a specific energetic frequency via a copper tag attached to the jewelry. The stated goal: to promote awareness, protection and clarity. The intention is clear — these are pieces meant to feel supportive as well as beautiful.

The bangles from the Bonded collection by Metal Alchemist are made of three materials, including copper, which is said to have wellness aspects.
Metal Alchemist says it has redefined fine jewelry, and at the core of that claim is what it calls Bonded Metal — a process inspired by ancient alchemy. Instead of plating one metal over another, the company permanently bonds layers of clean, optimized metals together to create what it refers to as a “supermetal.” The idea is durability and longevity — heirloom-quality pieces that are comfortable enough for everyday wear — but also something more intentional.
Each metal used carries meaning. Gold is associated with the sun and clarity. Silver is linked to the moon and protection. Copper, long known for its conductivity, is said to help balance and harmonize the other metals while connecting to the heart. The brand believes that when these metals are combined and worn against the skin, they interact with the body’s natural energy in subtle ways.

Metal Alchemist offers rings, bangles, earrings and more across a variety of collections.
Taking it a step further, every piece is “energetically charged” using a proprietary process that infuses a specific frequency into the jewelry via a copper tag attached to each piece. The company describes this as promoting awareness, protection and positive change. Whether you subscribe fully to the science of that or simply appreciate the intention behind it, there is no denying that the pieces work either in their design or their add-on purpose.
Metal Alchemist jewelry is crafted in Rhode Island, long known as the Jewelry Capital of the World, with an emphasis on clean metals, responsible manufacturing and comfort. The bracelets are lightweight, breathable and made to mold slightly to the wearer over time. They’re also genderless and easy — meant to be worn daily, dressed up or down. Pieces range from about $40 to several hundred dollars.
As for my experience: I’ve thoroughly enjoyed wearing them. I get compliments, yes — but more importantly, I like how they make me feel. I can’t scientifically prove that I feel better when I wear these bangles, but somehow I do. Is it all in the mind? I don’t think so. I think it might just be in the alchemy.

Metal Alchemist Bonded collection retails from about $40 up to several hundred dollars and it is made in Rhode Island.
