Bell & Ross Partners with Rafale Solo Display, Launches Special Edition eponymous BR-03 Watch
At the 55th Paris Air Show, Bell & Ross announced a new partnership with one of France’s top ambassadors of aeronautical talent: the Rafale Solo Display. Known for its breathtaking aerial demonstrations, the Rafale Solo Display is the official flight demonstration program of the French Air and Space Force, showcasing the agility and precision of Dassault Aviation’s Rafale fighter jet. Founded in 2009, the team selects and trains new pilots annually, who then create highly choreographed routines designed to highlight the aircraft’s speed, maneuverability, and power at international airshows.
Bell & Ross, a brand whose identity is closely tied to aviation, now joins forces with this elite program. The partnership was marked by the unveiling of the 41mm Bell & Ross BR 03 Chrono Rafale Solo Display, priced at $6,000. The watch retains the brand’s signature square-case silhouette, directly inspired by aircraft dashboard instruments, and introduces a design tied to the aesthetics of the Rafale jet.

The matte black ceramic case underscores durability and stealth, while the dial features gray tones accented by orange highlights—a nod to the jet’s markings and cockpit details. The chronograph hands and markers are accented for maximum visibility, echoing the clarity needed by pilots during flight. A small Rafale Solo Display logo appears discreetly on the dial, strengthening the connection to the demonstration team.
Powering the watch is the BR-CAL.301 automatic chronograph movement, based on the ETA 2894-2 architecture. The caliber operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a 42-hour power reserve. Its bi-compax layout ensures intuitive reading of elapsed minutes and small seconds, while central chronograph seconds and a date function add further utility. Just 500 pieces will be made.

The brand has also renewed its five-year partnership with the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace, highlighting its role in preserving aerospace heritage.
