A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Date now in pink gold with grey dial.
German brand A. Lange & Söhne is known for producing some of the most exclusive, and most sought-after watches. From the Odysseus to the 1815 and the beloved Lange 1, the brand focuses on clean, crisp dial designs and important functions. In that vein, it now introduces a new, long-awaited, case material and dial color combination in its beloved Zeitwerk family: the Zeitwerk Date in pink gold with a grey dial.

A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Date
This marks the first time A. Lange & Söhne has paired a warm-toned 18-karat pink gold case with a sleek grey dial in the Zeitwerk lineup. While the technical foundation of the watch remains unchanged, this elegant new colorway underscores the mechanical sophistication within — elevating its already distinct identity.
Originally launched in 2009, the Zeitwerk turned heads with its mechanical jumping numerals display of the hours and minutes – harmoniously balanced at 9:00 and 3:00 on the dial. This offering of a bold, digital-style time indication, along with hands for the seconds, stop seconds and an up/down power reserve, is made possible thanks to the intricate mechanical movement.
In 2019, the Zeitwerk Date added an innovative ring-shaped date display around the dial, using a rotating glass disk and red-highlighted segment to mark the current date. The subtle movement of the red segment around the perimeter provides a clear visual reference for the passage of time throughout the month.

The transparent sapphire case back allows for viewing of the mechanical movement inside the A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Date.
At the heart of this new reference 148.033 is the Lange manufacture caliber L043.8 — a manually wound movement composed of 516 parts. Its patented constant-force escapement ensures that the massive energy needed to advance the jumping hour and minute discs is delivered precisely and consistently. The movement also features a 72-hour power reserve and is visible through a sapphire caseback, showcasing exquisite finishing and the signature German silver three-quarter plate.
The dial-side visible bridge — a hallmark of the Zeitwerk aesthetic — frames the hours, minutes, and subsidiary seconds, serving as both a functional component of the movement and a visual connection between dial and mechanics.
At 44.2mm in diameter and 12.3mm thick, the new Zeitwerk Date maintains its bold wrist presence. But with the warmth of pink gold and the contemporary elegance of the grey dial, this iteration brings a fresh sophistication to a highly respected complication — offering collectors a new reason to take a closer look.
