Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Agave Blue in stainless steel with platinum bezel.Micro-Rotor
In the past few years, Parmigiani Fleurier has been quietly—and confidently—building a small empire around its Tonda PF collection. Without chasing trends, the brand has refined a design language rooted in restraint, proportion, and mechanical prowess (of course). The result is a series of watches that resonates deeply with collectors who value discretion over display. Now, Parmigiani adds two new renditions to that growing legacy, and they are already turning heads: the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor in stainless steel with a platinum bezel, and in warm, polished 18-carat rose gold—both distinguished by a new Agave Blue dial.
At first glance, Agave Blue may seem like a subtle evolution, but that understatement is precisely the point. Positioned between mineral blue, vegetal green, and soft grey, the color resists immediacy. Instead, it reveals itself gradually, shifting with light and movement throughout the day.

Rendered on Parmigiani’s hand-guilloché Grain d’Orge dial, the shade gains depth and texture without ever overwhelming the design. The absence of a date display allows the dial’s architecture to breathe, emphasizing clarity, balance, and chromatic nuance.
The 40mm case remains unchanged in proportion—slim at just 7.8mm thick—yet the material choices offer two distinct personalities. The stainless steel model, paired with a knurled platinum bezel, delivers contemporary sharpness and architectural purity and is priced at $28,600. It is a nice way to achieve a solid retail price with a little platinum in the mix.

The rose gold version introduces warmth and tactility while preserving the collection’s disciplined aesthetic; it is priced at $69,800. Neither feels hierarchical. They actually seem to speak to different sensibilities within the same philosophy of private luxury.
Powering both watches is the in-house PF703 automatic movement with 166 parts, a technical highlight worthy of attention. The platinum 950 micro-rotor is seamlessly integrated into the movement, allowing for exceptional slenderness while maintaining a 48-hour power reserve. Measuring just 3.07mm thick, the caliber is beautifully finished with Côtes de Genève, perlage, and beveled bridges, underscoring Parmigiani Fleurier’s commitment to mechanical sophistication that never shouts for attention. The watch is also water resistant to 100 meters.

My Impressions
Typically, it is difficult to get excited about a new dial color or a new metal in an existing watch. But as mentioned before, the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor watches are simply hot. They are clean, sophisticated, and highly wearable. I especially love the new Agave Blue—it feels serene and composed, the kind of color that adapts effortlessly to its surroundings. It works just as easily with an office suit as it does on the deck of a yacht over the weekend. More than anything, these new renditions reinforce why the Tonda PF has become so compelling: it is an easy and inviting wear.
