Vacheron Constantin equips two new Overseas Perpetual Calendar watches with Ultra-thin movements.
Vacheron Constantin’s Overseas collection is among the brand’s most coveted lines. Particularly appealing to collectors of sporty-chic watches, the Overseas offers a sleek look with high functionality and the brand’s signature panache. The latest additions to the family are two new interpretations of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin watch, each distinguished by striking dial-and-case combinations that enhance the model’s dual character of elegance and sportiness.
One version offers tonal appeal with its 18-karat pink gold case with gold bracelet and matching golden-toned lacquer dial. Its harmonious aesthetic extends to the moon phase disc, which is also crafted in pink gold. A subtle yet deliberate blue minute track punctuates the design, offering a touch of contrast. The watch boasts an interchangeable strap and is sold with the bracelet, as well as a blue rubber strap and a white rubber strap, each of which changes the look entirely.

The second version goes bolder, with an 18-karat white gold case and a striking burgundy lacquer dial. Here, the richness of the deep red sunburst finish contrasts with the cool tones of the white gold case and bracelet. The burgundy moon phase disc mirrors the dial color, while luminous white indexes and numerals heighten legibility and emphasize the sportier character of this version. Sold with the white gold bracelet, this model also is sold with a burgundy rubber strap and a white one. The easy interchangeability allows the wearer to change looks with moods.
Both watches measure 41.5 mm in diameter and just 8.1 mm in thickness, proportions that make them particularly refined for a perpetual calendar. The full perpetual calendar showcases day, date, month, leap year indication and moon phase. The mechanical movement automatically accounts for the varying lengths of months and the leap-year cycle, requiring no manual adjustment until 2100.

Vacheron Constantin’s in-house-made self-winding Caliber 1120 QP/1, one of the thinnest perpetual calendar movements in modern watchmaking at just 4.05 mm thick, powers the watches. The movement is composed of 276 parts and offers 40 hours of power reserve. The sapphire caseback reveals Vacheron Constantin’s attention to finishing, including Côtes de Genève, chamfering, and circular graining. The caliber carries the coveted Hallmark of Geneva Seal attesting to its fine workmanship.
Water resistant to 50 meters and protected against magnetism with a soft iron casing ring, the sporty chic watches offer great aesthetics, haute horology and versatility.
