The Temporis International Award
Public voting is now open for one of the most interesting watch distinctions of the year: the Temporis International Awards.
Unlike many industry awards judged solely behind closed doors, Temporis invites watch enthusiasts and collectors to take part in the selection process — one reason the program continues to gain traction globally. Last year, more than 350,000 votes were cast across categories, underscoring the growing engagement of the watch community in helping recognize excellence in contemporary horology.
Now in its 13th edition, the Temporis International Awards will culminate in a gala ceremony on October 29 in Zurich’s Kongresshaus, where winners across categories will be revealed. Founded in 2011 by Dan Vardie, the program aims to spotlight not only technical watchmaking achievement, but also innovation, creativity and watches that help move the conversation forward.

The top 10 finalists for the “Masterpiece of 2026” category of the The Temporis International Awards.
This year’s nominees for the “Masterpiece Presented at Watches and Wonders 2026” distinction represent a broad cross-section of high watchmaking — from groundbreaking complications and technical feats to fresh takes on classic forms. The shortlisted watches are:
- A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Lumen
- Angelus Tinkler 1958
- Armin Strom Minute Repeater Resonance 12:59
- Arnold & Son Ultrathin Tourbillon Red Gold Onyx
- H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Concept Tantalum
- IWC Pilot’s Watch Venturer Vertical Drive
- Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Hybris Inventiva Gyrotourbillon à Stratosphère
- Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Chronograph Mystérieux
- TAG Heuer Monaco Evergraph
- Ulysse Nardin Super Freak
Additionally, voting will be on going for other categories, as well. As a member of the Temporis jury, I can say the panel is composed of highly respected figures from across the watch world who take the voting process seriously — particularly when it comes to the Masterpiece category. Jury members include legendary industry figures such as Jean-Claude Biver, master watchmakers Philippe Dufour, Kari Voutilainen and Jean-Marc Wiederrecht, along with journalists, executives, retailers and collectors from around the globe.
Public voting is open now via the Temporis public voting page.
