It’s almost here!! The much anticipated chance for New Yorkers – and any others who want to venture to Gotham City in September – to witness first-hand many never-before-seen-by-the-public complex and alluring watches. TimeCrafters 2012.
Nearly two dozen of the most prestigious watch brands are demonstrating their technical prowess at this exhibition at the Park Avenue Armory – bringing not just superb timepieces, but also certain master watchmakers and other artisans to talk with connoisseurs and demonstrate their work.
TimeCrafters 2012 takes place in New York Friday and Saturday, September 14 and 15 — and is open to the public. The exceptional presentation of new and iconic timepieces will include brands such as A. Lange & Sohne, Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Blancpain, Breguet, Bulgari, Chopard, De Bethune, Dior, Frederique Constant, Glashutte, Girard-Perregaux, Harry Winston, Hublot, Omega, Oris, Parmigiani, Ralph Lauren, Richard Mille, Tag Heuer, Ulysse Nardin and Zenith. Additionally, various demonstrations and watchmaking classes will be ongoing throughout the event. Special exhibits will also be shown by The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry and Sotheby’s. Finally, for New Yorkers who love Keith Haring and watch lovers avid about Swatch, the brand brings a good portion of the Blum Collection of rare Swatch watches to the event.
