Weekend Sojourn: The Art of Recology

Each time I pass through the San Francisco airport, I am inspired by the beauty of the terminals — each featuring a different artistic exhibition thanks to the SFO Museum (that was established by the Airport Commission in 1980 to humanize the airport). This past week, I lingered a little longer in the United terminal  — inspired by the Art of Recology exhibition. Essentially Recology is a company that provides waste collection, recycling and disposal to more than 100 communities n San Francisco. The new Artist in Residence Program has been developed to reach the community and bring home the concept of just how much we waste.
