Cool Watches – Finally, a Swiss Tourbillon you can Afford!

Before the release of this watch, the purchase of a Swiss-made tourbillon would cost way upwards of $75,000 – $80,000. Now,  Frederique Constant unveils te new Slimline Tourbillon Manufacture (in two versions) that makes buying this magnificent feat of watchmaking incredibly more affordable.

The brand offers either a stainless steel version or a stainless steel with 18-karat solid rose gold bezel model – retailing for approximately $34,000 to $36,500! This is a steal – especially considering the craftsmanship involved in the making. Each timepiece is individually numbered, with just 188 pieces of each model being built. The advanced movement is equipped with a silicium escapement wheel and lever—reducing service needs and increasing durability.  The watch features a 60-second tourbillon, wherein the seconds hand is integrated into the rotating tourbillon cage. The sleek timepiece, inspired by the 1950’s watches, features a slim case and a sapphire caseback for viewing the rose gold plated rotor and decorated movement.
